| I'm baaaaaaaaaack!
Well, I figured I'd try to make another go at this thing . . .
Here's the latest and greatest (for the whole 2 people that might read this):
Back in late January I awoke in the night really sick to my stomach. When I got up to go to the bathroom I passed out, busted my nose up, and had a seizure! I "got" to ride in the ambulance to Edmond Regional (never go there). For the rest of the week I stayed home from work and went to various doctor's appointments and tests. So far we don't know what caused everything. Right now my cardiologist (yes, I have a cardiologist now) has me keeping a heart monitor with me for the next 30 days. Next week I go in for more tests.
Actually, it was pretty funny at the cardiologist's office . . .Alan and I were the youngest people there by, like, 30 years! Everyone has been really nice and work has been cool to let me off for all my appointments.
Grandma seems to be doing well, except for some arthritis in her shoulder. She's been talking about getting her garden going again, which is music to my ears! Olivia joined the chess team - so cool - you go girl! Lucy is getting married May 15th, so we've been talking about that alot. Naomi is getting to be a big girl. We took her to Toys-r-Us last Saturday and she picked out a doctor's playset as her toy - how could I say no to a budding health professional? Hmmmm? Becky seems cool - her hair is getting really long.
That's about all I can think of right now - my first stab back at this.
| Greetings and Salutations!
I am a terrible blogger! But I think Olivia blogs enough for both of us . . . .
Thanksgiving: It has been cancelled, well at Grandma's anyway, so every family is doing their own thing. My birthday is Friday, so our Thanksgiving will be a sort of birthday party too. Thanks Socks!
What's new . . .we'll I got a promotion to Payroll Accountant for my company. And I got tickets to Coldplay this morning - they'll be here in February . . .and the answer to hot rollers is definitely a BIG curling iron. I mean, I love big curling irons. What else . . .Rachel's baby shower was mega fun times, but I was kinda forgetful and forgot to have everyone sign her baby book with well wishes and such. So check it out at Grandma's and leave a message for Rachy.
Hey, does anybody know what a "Ginger" is?

| Hello All,
Lucy comes home tonight around 11 - I'm so glad cause I miss her alot.
Well, we finally got another set of wheels. I'm free! I guess I'll have to start driving again - but that is a good thing, right? I got used to this Driving Miss Daisy stuff . . .
We didn't do anything special for Halloween, but I kinda wish I'd dressed up. Mom says that next year *when I'm pregnant (her words!)* that I should wear a bikini top and paint a face on my belly - not sure what that is supposed to be, but OK Mom.
And, I need to get smart about this blogging stuff.

| Quick update - Lucy is in Cali! | | |
| From all accounts it looks like Grandma is doing better - I hear this from others - I can't seem to get ahold of her on the phone. Anyway, I'm gonna be staying with her this weekend and getting some quality time with a quality lady
So - we just got some stainless steel cookware - Kinda hard to cook with, but I guess I'll get the hang of it. I feel like it's my duty to figure all this domestic stuff out before the kids get here. Hmmm, darn invisible social pressure.
Oh, and as a general note, I am planning a baby shower for Rachel sometime next month. We're gonna ship all the gifts out to her all at once, but not before we all oooh and ahh over them.
You know, I started feeling like a grownup last week when Grandma got sick. I started thinking about the fact that she won't be here forever, and then my parents, and then Alan, and on . . . . I liked it better when I was little and I didn't have to think about this stuff.
